Amazon — Shares of the e-commerce giant plunged as much as about 19% in extended trading Thursday after the company posted weaker-than-expected earnings and revenue for the third quarter and issued disappointing fourth-quarter sales guidance. Apple — Apple share fell as much as about 4% following its quarterly financial report, which included weaker- than-expected iPhone revenue. Apple still beat Wall Street estimates for its earnings and revenue, however, and the shares pared their losses. Intel — The chipmaker saw shares gain 7.5% after it said it will deliver up to $10 billion in cost reductions and efficiency improvements through 2025. DocuSign — Shares were up 1.7% after the technology company named former Google executive Allan Thygesen its new CEO. Guidewire — The software maker rose 0.9% after authorizing a $400 million buyback . Scholastic — The education company fell 2% after reporting an 82% decline in fiscal first quarter operating income and 74% lower earnings before taxes. Revenue grew 1%. KB Home — Shares dipped 21% in extended trading after the homebuilder disappointed on revenue expectations in its earnings results. KB Home reported earnings of $2.86 per share on revenue of $1.85 billion. Analysts surveyed by Refinitiv were expecting earnings of $2.67 per share on revenue of $1.87 billion. Steelcase — The furniture stock declined 0.4% after Steelcase reported quarterly results that missed on revenue estimates. The company reported earnings of 21 cents per share on revenue of $863.3 million.
